REGIONAL NEWS

Please can regional organisers attending conference make themselves known to the Links Officer  to discuss ways of making this section of the newsletter more informative!

East London & Essex met on December 15th. The next meeting is on 15th May.

South Region
also met on December 15th in Merton and discussed the new National Curriculum, Numeracy strategy booster classes, KS3/4.

West Midlands group meeting is on Thursday 11 May in Hereford. Details of time, venue and focus will be circulated nearer the time.

Northern Ireland We have a number of Northern Ireland members--can anyone help set up a regional group?

Germany It seems a number of members from Forces' schools are attending conference-- please contact the Links Officer to talk about how the Newsletter can meet your needs.

SW Regional Advisers met in Taunton on 17th January. They had a short presentation on NAMA from the Links Officer. No news yet as to whether they decided to host future NAMA SW region meetings.


MY2000 Wales - The Steering Group for Wales includes NAMA member, Mererid Stone, and is headed by the Welsh Office.  Contact person is Maggie Kaufman of Techniquest.
